of

Performance

My performance was shaped at altitude, where details decide everything—from inrun to landing. Ski jumping built focus, discipline, and resilience under pressure.

My first jump wasn’t easy, though I don’t remember all the details. I do remember my first jump on the K-38 hill in Banská Bystrica. I was scared, sitting on the start bench for 30 minutes, unsure if I’d go. Eventually, I did - and fear gradually turned into a love for jumping.

I remember my first jumps on the K-120 hill at 12. On my second jump, I reached 121 meters - unbelievable, especially with the German team there, athletes who inspired me. It was even more special knowing this hill would host my first Olympic Games.

Predazzo, Olympic Games 2026. A dream fulfilled. I aimed to redefine Slovak ski jumping, and left with the best modern result: 21st place - shared with my long-time idol, Kamil Stoch.

At 17, without a home hill, I went to Planica to break 200m. Initially told I wasn’t ready, I got a last-minute chance. After a call with my mental coach, I committed: first jump over 200m. I hit 202m - Slovak record… at least at the time :)
